This model does not lift the flap for your pet. It only unlocks the flap. Once unlocked, your pet needs to push the flap open to pass through. This design helps provide more stable and reliable operation.

The package includes 1 smart pet door, 1 cutting template, 8 self-tapping screws, 1 collar sensor tool kit, and 1 instruction manual. No power source is included.

The pet door uses 4 AA batteries (lasting about 4 months) or our dedicated external power supply. The collar sensor uses 1 CR2450 battery (lasting about 4–8 months). Batteries are not included and should be purchased separately. If you choose to use an external power supply, please purchase the dedicated iGuardPaw power adapter.

After setting P4 (Current Time), select P2 (Auto Mode) and set the access period to A12:00 – A12:00. Your dog will then have 24/7 two-way access with the collar sensor.

Your pet needs to wear the collar sensor. After setting P4 (Current Time), select P2 (Auto Mode) and set the allowed exit period. For example, set A05:30 – P09:30 to allow your dog to go outside only from 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM, while still allowing him to come back inside at any time.

After setting P4 (Current Time), select P1 (Timer Mode) and set the access period to A05:30 – P09:30. Your dog can freely enter and exit during this time and will be prevented from entering or exiting outside the set period.

Yes. It only unlocks for pets with the smart key. The sealed, heavy-duty door with auto-lock keeps unwanted animals out.

Yes. Just set your allowed access hours (e.g., 6:00AM – 9:00PM). It locks automatically outside these times. Plus, in auto mode, your pet can still enter even after hours.

No. Flexible seal strips, metal edging and 3‑sided magnets deliver a tight, weatherproof seal.

Currently, you can only choose either Auto Mode or Timer Mode within a single day. Switching between modes requires reconfiguration, and the previous settings will be automatically disabled after a new mode is set up.

An iGuardPaw Smart Pet Door supports unlimited collar sensors, so you can give all your pets permission to come and go freely.
