No. This smart dog door is not motor-driven. The motor only unlocks the flap, which pets can then push open for more reliable operation. The flap stays closed even when unlocked, balancing pet access and a secure seal.

Currently, you can only choose either Auto Mode or Timer Mode within a single day. Switching between modes requires reconfiguration, and the previous settings will be automatically disabled after a new mode is set up.

An iGuardPaw Smart Pet Door supports unlimited collar sensors, so you can give all your pets permission to come and go freely.
